Appointed in 2019 as Development Manager, we undertook a feasibility study to establish a best-value alternative use for the asset; a business park situated close to Slough. This was undertaken with the objective of crystallising an enhanced value for their asset through the planning process.
This feasibility study involved an assessment of market value vs planning risk, from which it was determined that a data centre led use presented the greatest opportunity.
As a result, we were instructed to prepare a market-facing planning application to enable flexibility for a build-to-suit facility dependent on the incoming operator.
